I'm relatively new to 3d printing but I'm looking to print a full set of hard armor for the shoretrooper. I'm mostly done with the Seans helmet but I'm looking for the best up to date screen accurate body armor for the rest of the build.

Any help would be great!

Most up-to-date (and accurate) are Mr Paul's files, but there is a $210 (depending on the exchange rate) charitable donation required in order to download them.

I bought them myself and I am really impressed with how well done the 3D models are.

However, you are totally fine using Sean's files for approval.  Several Shoretroopers have gotten approved with them.

I have no problem buying Paul's files if they are good. I also don't mind sending money to Sean's files.  I just dont want to do a whole lot of modifications after printing.

Paul’s files are amazing. Worth mentioning that it’s not a complete set of armour though. There are a few parts which need to be bought from him.

If you’re going for most accurate though, the Nico Henderson helmet is the way to go - I understand you’ve already printed a SF.

Depending lvl you want, i would sat SF is good enougth for standard approval

For starters, Sean files are free, but it requires modifications. On the other hand Mr Paul files are the way to go in terms of accuracy, but you can get the same accuracy (to a certain degree) when you make modifications to the Sean files.

Personally I have both versions and the Nico Henderson Helmet files. I bought the Mr. Paul files, because I wanted to donate to the charity and I was curious and wanted to compare. It seems that Sean Files misses a majority of details and some details needed to be altered, but still approvable.

My armor kits are from Sean files and some parts made by Paul, but also some modified and altered parts were made by me using Fusion360 3D program (to make armor parts from scratch)
