Muhobi
Hello everyone, I would like to start a shoretrooper in a few months and wanted to clarify beforehand what I need and where I get the things from, which dealers differ in what way to get a perfect approval. the current version is either the captain or the officer, although I don't know exactly how the two versions differ except in the painting. what is better 3d print or abs plastc? if abs rather from 850 armor or from imperial surplus? or are there other variants? Where can I get the soft parts from besides imperial boots? thanks for your tips and tricks. greetings from germany marcel

Here's a list of Vendors: We have (currently) six variants of Shoretroopers: https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Pathfinders_CRL For the most part, the armor is the same. Some paint and accessories will vary across each one. Vac formed vs 3D printing is up to personal preference. Are you willing to print each part and spend the time gluing/filling/sanding? If not, buy the kit. I'd recommend going through a few WIP posts and see which method you prefer or are willing to stick with. Our current list of soft goods is here: Remember, getting approved is pretty much up to you. All kits have there issues. You'll need to modify or replace parts to get basic approval from your GML no matter which route you go. We're here to help you along the way so please keep your questions coming!
