Hey, just wanted to get some guidance here. I have the suede purchased but I wanted to get the okay or adjustments on my patterns before I do something I can't undo. What do you all think of the patterns on the suit? Look goood? Needs improvement? Thanks!

Pretty much looks a-ok from here. The butt flap might be a bit long, but I'd leave it as is until we can see it in comparison with your belt and drop boxes.

Have you made a pattern for your cod yet? A common mis-step with the front side of the suede patches is to have the top L and R angles poking out from the sides of the cod. I don't *think* you will have that issue with the current width of your patches, but you might want to double check. And even then, it's an easy fix -- most folks just round the top Land R edges of the suede patches.

As I said, I don't think you'll have that problem though.

Thanks Chopper. I'm getting my boots and cummerbund from Cheese here on the Forum so I do not actually have a pattern at hand. I'm thinking on just adding and inch or two on the tops of the front patches, do you think that would be enough to on the safe side or should I just wait it out for the bund to arrive? I've got plenty to work on either way so it won't slow me down at all.

Up to you. I do think you're on the safe side, so I'd just hold off until the bund/cod arrives.

Hi ya Brent,

I agree with Chopper, see how much the cod piece covers also looking at fitting the knees may help as well to positioning the patches.

You may also find the patch fabric is more prominent in the front than the back.

Here is a photo from ROTJ giving you an idea on the mud flap, it does look like its ridden up a little but should get the idea.
