I know that the detachment can not endorse any specific maker when it comes to items but I’m just looking for a little discussion and opinion on what everyone thinks of the two since, in my opinion, they are the two makers producing a similar product. Not that they are necessarily any better than other makers out there. I just figure if there was a Chevy vs Ford situation with TB boots than it would be between these two.

PS- I’m a Toyota guy, lol.

Imperial boots are the pictures on top and Crow props are the pictures on bottom

The new IB boots are so new that it's hard to make a judgment on them.  The pictures look very good but without seeing a pair in hand it's hard to render judgment.  They are very promising, I will say that much.

I've got a pair of Crowprops and they are pretty good, but need work in some areas to make them look better.  Here are two reviews of Crowprops

And there are plenty of folks who make great boots in the traditional manner you can reach out to.

Thanks Brotha, when exactly did the New IB become available?

I actually have an order in for the crow props from back in December. I love the soles of them, But I’m curious about the IB because their toe shape looks better and if there is another item that I wouldn’t mind buying two of, it’s boots. I like the one piece construction of these manufactured boots. I made my own last time and I was always worried about the marine vinyl coming up and putting them on sometimes was a pain in the butt.

The Crow Props boots are really comfy and the leather is really nice, but the cut is really poor.  I need to pack foam around the front of the ankle to keep it from creasing up and looking poor.  I hope he makes some changes to the pattern, his work on the sole is excellent.

The one piece look was what I disliked about them the most :D

The film boots are Sierra Sneakers with leather covers.  You can see the covers pulling up in plenty of shots.  And the toes look all smashed down because the Sierra Sneaker does not have a firm rounded toe.   And no one has been able to pull this look off without using the original boots.

It would be great if IB or CP just provided a donor boot with the accurate sole that we could use to wrap with vinyl or leather to get us closer to the film look.

That’s actually a great idea.

When I said one piece, I didn’t mean the one piece look, I meant the one piece construction. I totally agree with you on the one piece look being a turn off. I remember the original IB have the leather tucked in the heel area and look like any ordinary boot but it appears as though the new IB and Crow prop boots have the material attached to the soul to give it the look that it’s loose. I’m not sure if that’s the case because I have only seen pictures, but it does look alot better than the tucked material one piece look.

Of the two, my preference is toward the new IB boots -- but I would need to see a pair (or a really good review) before I could decide.

I got my pair back in late December. I just started my journey with my first armor build so I do not have any experience with other vendors.

The primary issue with the IB set is that they come in a set shaft height per boot size. This may or may not make a difference to you, depending on your body shape, but it's something to keep in mind and check before ordering.

I like how your photos look like pictures in a country living boot catalog:) I love it. They actually look better in your pics than the IB website.

If the price weren't so prohibitive, I would literally buy a pair and rip their leather off and put on my own. The soles look very nice.

Hello guys and gals , Giovanni, Crowprops owner here, I loved to see you like my efforts to make a decent biker boot, I am here to announce that based in some bikers askings, I am launching a new option to make your boots in the traditional way, I am making a base boot with the accurate sole, so, you will can add the vynil as the usual mode.

Please go to my website Crowprops dot com from tomorrow or may be in few hours to know the new item based in popular asking.

Don't forget that we remade the gloves based in feedbacks and now are more bigger forearms as the originals.

Thanks for your time on read this.
