Looking for a helmet that would be 501st approved. would this be ok in it's finished form?

No.  That helmet has cut outs that would need to be filled and replaced with decals, something that's been cropping up a lot in 3D models these days.  We appreciate the nod toward realism, but as we do movie-accurate costumes, we adhere to the way they were done on screen.

From the CRL:

Quote

Decals are screen accurate:

  • Helmet details created with decals on the originals may not be substituted with actual cutouts, i.e. above the snout area or the trapezoids in the back. If these areas are cut out on the helmet, they must be filled and covered with a decal.

I would be a bit careful with this seller. iirc, there was a thread on a forum about his Shore bucket and how he used an Anovos helmet in the listing and when people bought it and received it the quality was not only bad, but it obviously was not an Anovos (even thought at that point it would of been a recast work which is a no no). That being said, as BikerScout mentioned, no it would not be approvable.
