A Few question on the armor

Recommended Posts

I got the SC armor set and I'm trying to get it put together correctly for approval.

One question, are the should T straps still being used or is it just a zip tie or a combo of both?

And for the helmet lens, I read in EU they use a mirror lens, can that be used in the US also or is it just a dark len period?

I had order a set from Mexico that's pretty bad and made of fiberglass, does anyone use fiberglass armor?

The helmet is coming along as is the belt, still working on the other parts

For Level 2, you need to use zip ties.  T-straps were not used in the film.   For basic, do it how you'd like.

We don't have different CRLs for different regions.  It should be dark lens period.  If anyone is using a mirror lens, they are doing it contra the CRL.

Fiberglass is difficult to work with and doesn't hold up to the rigors of trooping as well as ABS.  I've seen one fiberglass Scout kit and it was pretty bad.  Accuracy was extremely lacking
