Jacket Base

Would this jacket work as a base for patrol trooper? I would just have to modify the sleeves.

I would say no due to the zip at the front

Yeah the zip in the front will be an issue unless it's completely concealed, and that includes at the top where it will probably show above the armor.

But my bigger concern is that that's not a shiny material.  

• Smooth semi-gloss black material.
• Sleeves are ribbed, except portions of sleeve under the shoulder bells and under the forearm armor.

I was able to finally look at the CRL and the jacket base reminds me of a police style windbreaker jacket. I may look into that and do the modifications from that.

Another option is to reach out to current vendors and see if they can sell just the jacket
