Woohoo, this is SO awesome and exciting! I've been waiting for this CRL since we first saw the Troopers on the Mandalorian, haha. Thank you to everyone that helped make this happen!

Any chance there will be a equivalent of Lancer for the Mandalorian scout?

We've probably given the CRL enough time to get the kinks out of it.  I'll talk it over with the armor team and see what everyone has in mind for L2 requirements.

Some of the Lancer details could apply. 
 

Elastic straps used are unique to the Mandalorian so there are those details. As well as the extra seam line on the back flap of the cummerbund. The leg pockets of the flight suit are flat across the bottom of the flap. Happy to help contribute if you want to build out a Level 2.

Sure.  When I revise the CRL to add L2 requirements I can add this to Optional accessories

Okay I inquired with the LMO about this.  As far as we know, there are no CRLs that have the commlink as an optional accessory, even if the trooper is seen using it in the films.  So we are going to leave it off for now.  There should be no problem with you carrying one on a troop.

I thought it would be added as an option like TK ANH hero and Garindan's CRL. But there is no problem.

I asked the LMO about the ANH TK and the issue was that it was the entire commlink and grappling hook combo that was being added, not just the commlink.

I didn't know about Garindan!  Thanks for pointing that one out.  Since there is a precedent I'll circle back with the LMO and see what they say.  but like I said, the commlink is utilized by a lot of troopers and it isn't part of their CRL.  There's nothing really stopping you from using one.
