mikemakesmovies
So my flightsuit showed up and after trying it on it’s just a little too tight to move around too much in. Walking is fine but no bending over and I’m not even sure about sitting. I attribute most of it due to having an extra long torso and regular sized legs. What would be the best way to fix this issue? Or should I just put it up for sale and order something else. Can take pics if needed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Aradun
Where did you get it from and can you return it? If it’s a custom suit with all the fixings then you can list it for sale in the trade thread. You may need to consider purchasing overalls like Red Kap from Amazon. They offer them in a regular size as well as a long version, which sounds like something that would offer you a better fit. Only thing is you’ll need to mod the suit yourself, but there’s plenty of tutorials on how and you can expect a ton of help from fellow Pathfinders if your nervous about going that route.

If this was a fully made suit, there are some tricks tailors can do to lengthen the torso for you, especially since none of it will show under the flak vest and bund. I've seen some folks basically add a cut with spandex at the shoulder blades and lower back that allows for more stretch when bending or sitting. RedKap is notorious for having a short torso for their coveralls and even their "long" sizes just mean longer legs. If it's just a plain set of coveralls that you plan to mod, then you may need to size up and then see what needs to be taken in on the arms and legs for a proper fit. You could also check out the Kolossus coveralls, which fit a bit better than the RedKap, they breathe easier as well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BK87DYM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
mikemakesmovies
It is a full suit with the suede and all. Made by kiptontop. A super nice suit but just doesn’t fit me how I’d like so I’ll probably list it on the trade forum and start from scratch. I have to remake a bund anyway so luckily it shouldn’t set back my build too muchSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What the problem more likely was is my now tiny bund making it harder to move. It’s definitely still tight in some spots when sitting down or standing from sitting but if I can place the elastic in some solid places it should be stellar. The placement I was thinking would be a sort of upside down t shape to give some more stretch along the axis with my kidneys and across my spine Edit: after exploring the suit a little more, he put about an inch of excess material at the arm and chest seams which is already surged and sewn almost like a seam in a t shirt and he did tell me that there are spots that can have the seams taken out. It won’t solve everything but it’s a great start and should help improve some mobility Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
