Dublin Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 I tend to wear knee pads under my TIE flight suit to make kneeling for a picture easier... somebody has to do it. Does anyone add padding inside their knee armor? It occurred to me to cut pieces of an anti-fatique mat to fit. Thoughts?
BikerScout007 Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 I never thought of doing this largely because I don't think the knee armor would survive. I usually squat down as opposed to kneeling. 2
MrPoopie Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 My knee armor doesn't have padding but it's really mangled after years of use and kneeling. I know a couple other troopers who have a bit of foam padding or wear knee pads underneath their flightsuit. Overall I agree with @BikerScout007 and you should try to squat if possible otherwise your knees will get wrecked quickly. 2
