Hello.  I'm making the Mando Scout and my SC kit came with a green visor... but the draft CRL is stating it needs to be black.

Can anyone recommend where to get a visor?  My preference would be pre-cut as I have no idea how I'd cut it, but I'm in the States so maybe that's limited?  Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Most of us use these as a lens:

https://www.amazon.com/Hobart-770580-Shield-Replacement-Shaded/dp/B002VECKRO/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=hobart+lens&qid=1595616083&s=industrial&sr=1-7

But they've been out of stock for awhile.  You may be able to find them elsewhere.  If spaced out properly, you can get about 3 lenses out of one sheet

I found this but haven't purchased it yet to see if it is similar enough for our purposes:

Thanks.  If I went that route... how hard is it to cut?  I'm not sure why SC sends a green visor if the RotJ scout needs a black one too? LOL.

I really don't know why any Scout bucket makers send out green lenses, unless they have them laying around for other costumes.

The Hobart lens is thin and can be easily cut with Lexan scissors or scored with an exacto knife.  As for the second one, like I said, I only recently discovered it on Amazon and have no hands-on experience, but the dimensions as given on the site lead me to believe it is very thin and just as easy to cut.
