BikerScout007
I'm finishing up my 3D printed E-22 and I needed to make a strap. After looking around I couldn't find a tutorial, so I'm making one. Hope it helps. These are the swivels I bought to feed the straps through: https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/outdoor-connection-talon-swivels-and-toc-swivel-base-set-17ocoutlndblswvlngua/17ocoutlndblswvlngua For the sling itself, first you'll need a 1 inch nylon strap and a silver 1 inch tri-glide slider. I got mine here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HHLDYJI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BJYS23S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I wanted to make sure the strap hung down low like the screen used ones, so I used a 6 foot length of nylon. First I fed the slider about 2/3rds of the way down the length of the strap. Then I looped the longer piece of the strap (on either side of the slider), through the rear swivel on the rifle: Then I pulled the piece I looped through the swivel and tucked it in above the strap piece already going through the slider. It's a little hard to explain so here is a pic: Then lace it through the other side of the slider: Then pinched it back on itself. I placed a pin here. This is where it will get sewn: Then take the other end of the strap and loop it through the front swivel. The contact point seems to be BEHIND the main strap in photos. So you loop it down and over, not up and over. Like the proper way to replace a toilet paper roll! Pin this in place also: With both pins in place you can get an idea if it's in the right position or not: Then sew both spots you pinned down: And there you have it: a nice E-22 strap that hangs down to your waist like the screen used and is also adjustable!
