Scout Helmet

Recommended Posts

Hi to everyone,

as I asked the approvment for my Scout,  to get in to 501 Italian Garrison, but I should change the Helmet and would like to ask you some advices.

The Helmet you can see in sale on the under mentioned link, should match?

What do you think?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Fabio

Hi Fabio, what helmet were you using before?

We've seen the Cybercraft helmet you linked, and while basic approval is up to your local GML, our view of it was that the helmet is highly inaccurate.

There are better helmets available -- you should check out the helmets from (for example) Altmann, Studio Creations, RS Prop Masters, Kropserkel, Cast From Origina (CfO), many of which are in the thread below.

I'd you like our feedback on other potential helmets, please post away and we'll take a look.

hello, I contacted a couple of British manufacturers that you suggested for the scout helmet.  out of curiosity could you explain the imperfections of the helmet that I wanted to buy on Etsy?  Thanks.

Look at screen shots of the helmet from the movie, then compare to what you are considering on etsy. Notice huge differences? Yep, that's why people are suggesting others .

The RS helmet is moulded from a genuine movie helmet , notice how it looks like the movie ones , and the etsy one doesn't ?

Thats what this hobby is about , learning about the movie costumes and trying to emulate them . It's a learning curve, but you will soon get the hang of it and be shooting for Lancer !
