TK-42128 Return of the Jedi Biker Scout - Death Star White Kit.

Armor Kit - Studio Creations

Microphone - Wireless Com system with Aker Amp.

Helmet, seam at rear is sealed, bolt on visor has dimple placed in.  All new decals were used to spec based on Dickey Beer's original helmet.  Interior is completely blacked out and lined.  Ear holes are cut out.  Chin strap is run down side like the originals even though that panel has a different cut.

All armor straps are to Lancer spec.  All Tank details are to spec from screen examples.  Chest plate as top and lower level diamond cuts.  They are reinforced. Shoulder bells attached by zip ties.

*** Boots are imperial boots that were stripped down and rebuilt.  I know this may be an area of contention as many do not favor imperial boots for Lancer.  I like them a lot and their fit, especially for long troops.  So I will ask for tolerance here from you.  Boots are reinforced inside to be firm so that holster does not sag boots.  Dog bone replaced, sole of the shoes cut to existing lancer patterns.  There were many different styles I saw, I chose one that looked best on my boots

Jump Suit, Vest and cumber bun, cod piece and flight suit custom made by Chris Ruiz to lancer spec.  Suede  seat and suede but flap sewn in to spec

Blaster is made by Hotpropproductions.  resin blaster, metal guard, front hole is filled.

Thermal detonator has custom build clips.  Also built a custom box to seal the back and added velcro to attach to belt.

Belt has buckles with slip through strap to spec and the strap slips through drop boxes.

Rear tank has other hole painted white, red strip across dial, rivet which holds the tank and strap in place, strap runs around the inside of armor and is attached to bottom and bottom is riveted in place.

Gloves are Wampa Wear gloves

Balaclava

Dlt is custom 3-D printed by Brian Payne at 3Dprintmerchant and built and painted by me.  used with centurion TK kits.

Binoculars are 3-D printed by Brian Payned at 3Dprintmerchant and built/modified and painted by me with my own custom division put on.  TK ID on one side, Special Assault Command in Black, front has model number, bottom has manufacturer, on off switch and Imperial Cogs.

Again, I built this from the beginning with the Lancer build specs and threads specified to me.

Appreciate your  time and look very forward to your feedback.

Hi Ardeshir! Here’s our feedback. I’ve added a few photos to help clarify but please feel free to reach out anytime for any clarification or help!

Overall this is an excellent submission and there are only a few items that we would like to see you address. We did want to express that you did an OUTSTANDING job with the visor cut on that SC helmet. Really great work there. You should be proud of what you accomplished.

Cod piece will need to be addressed to correct the folding that’s occurring there. It could be that your cod strap is too tight and pulling the cod under your legs. If you’re still having an issue, and you already haven’t, you may need to add some interfacing/stiffener to that area.

The bund is sagging a bit in the back. A suggestion here is to add some Velcro to your vest to keep the bund in place.

There is some gapping between the chest armor and bund that should be reviewed and tightened.

Shoulders seem to be a little too close to the shoulder bridges on your chest/back armor. It could be due to the camera angle but we’d like an additional photo of this area with your arms at your sides to confirm.

Biceps should be rotated more and moved up towards the vest sleeves.

Forearms should move down further towards the wrist.

Thigh boxes should be adjusted closer to the belt at the rear sections to get it closer to the 1.5” standard we’re looking for.

Overall the boots are well done. We would like you to address the short horizontal seam about two inches up from the sole on the back of the boot that go through the “closure” strips. A suggestion here could be to either paint or possibly resew that seam with invisible thread.

DLT19/MG34: Level 2 in the CRL calls for "Small disk on left side." In your current picture set we cannot see it and we’ll need to verify that detail.

Hi Peter and thank you very much for the input.  I will get on these changes right away.  If I may address them just to confirm with you.

1: I absolutely agree with you on the Cod Piece.  It was bugging me as well.  I will attend to that no problem.

2: I will be adding better velcro to the bund both front and back to address that issue as well.  I was unaware of it, so thank you very much for pointing that out.

3: The gap between the chest and bund, easy address.  I did not tighten the chest armor enough and easy fix.

4: The shoulder bells I made them tight to the armor bridge as I liked that tight look better.  But easy to address, I can make them wider easy peasy.

5: I am not sure what you mean here, so please let me ask.  The biceps have velcro on them and suit, so easy to make the adjustment.  Are you suggesting that they need to be placed closer to the shoulder bell.  perhaps more under it?  In ROTJ, I noticed they were extremely low on almost all of them and over lapping with the forearms, which most of the time were bunched up.  So I kinda split the difference of putting them bicep and forearm area.  So Again, should they be higher up?  Rotating forward not an issue at all.

6:  Forearms not a problem at all.

7:  Drop boxes, not a problem at all.  Easy peasy

8:  No problem on the stitch on the back of the boot.  I will paint and coat those out.

9:  The DLT, I loaded all the same side pics.  I apologize.  The Disc is there on the other side.

Peter, thank you very very much for the complement and input.  I appreciate the time and suggestions and look forward to addressing these issues on the next upload.  Thank you as well to anyone else that may have reviewed this.

Hello,

Here are the requested updates.  The zip tie was removed and new set were placed in at a wider depth from the shoulders.

Biceps are moved up and spun forward more.

Forearms are lowered as far as they will go without pushing gloves down.

Drop boxes are exactly 1.5 inches across the board from the belt

Boot stitch was sealed over and painted

Foam added to lower portion of codpiece to keep from folding and strap was lowered a bit.

Adjustment was made to back bund to keep it higher and more flat.

Armor front and backplate tightened to remove gap

Left side photo of blaster disc supplied.

Also, flight suit was tailored more to slim down the legs for a much more fitted look.

I apologize for the sun on the armor, there was nothing else I could do to avoid that.

Please let me know if there is anything else that you would like to see or that you would like me to adjust.

Thank you again for your time and effort.

Ardeshir R.

Greetings Ardeshir!
Thanks for making those changes in such a rapid time and getting those pictures posted. We’ve reviewed the changes and all of them have passed save for one item that will need to be readdressed. Your cod is still folded at the bottom where the cod strap is connected. This could be that the cod strap is too tight but what we recommend is that you pull the top of the cod higher under your belt so the bottom part of the curve sits at the right height. I’ve included a couple of pics to help.

You’ve done a fantastic job so far and you just need that little extra to get you over the line. If you have any questions or need any assistance please reach out to Chopper or I at any time.

Note the cod folded over at the bottom.

Thank you very much.  I noticed that again, so this morning when there was overcast and I could take better pictures, I had already taken the photos.  Here are the ones that pertain to your request.  I loosened the lower strap which relaxed it even more and leveled it out.  Three different pics to show the correction.  Thank you for your input and suggestions.
