Brief introduction:
My name is Gertjan Kool from the Netherlands. I joined the Dutch Garrison (DS-10895) 4 years ago and I got till this day 3 costumes of which 1 of my costume has 3 variants approved. I'm working towards a shoretrooper specialist level 2.

Planned parts/already bought:
Helmet level 2 - Nico Henderson STL file
Armor/Blaster - Sean Fields files (modded)
Armored Skirt/Hip Plates - Paul Prentice (Mr. Paul)
Boots: Genuine Orcay Bay Havana
Shirt + Neckseal level 2 - Sheev's Emporium
Pants level 2 - The Darkside Closet
Gloves - Endor Finders

Spray Paints:
Montana Gold - Red Orange
Montana Gold - Sahara Beige
Montana Gold - Shock Dark Brown
Montana Gold - Taxi Cab Yellow
Montana Gold - Shock Black
Montana Gold - Shock Kent Blood Red
Toyota Red

3D Printers:
- Creality CR-10
- Creality CR-10 Max
- Creality Ender 2
- Phrozen Sonic Mini Resin 3D printer

I'm planning on making the specialist variant from Battlefront 2.

I have ordered Shock Kent Blood Red and is going to be the color for:
- Shoulderbells (Finished printing)
- Chest
- Backbox (one stripe)

I'm willing to jump over from Captain to Specialist variant and (hopefully) soon be a model for this amazing variant.

Paint is 3020 Montana Gold Kent Blood Red and here are the two 3D printed shoulderbells ready. First they needed to be sanded down so that the printed lines are no longer visible and flat/smooth surface.

Thanks for stepping up!  This should be a relatively simple build.

@mrrikki -- looks like we'll have a new draft CRL on our hands soon.

For the time being I'm going to move this to the Costumes Pending forum, until it's an approved CRL.  This is just to help us organize the writing of a new CRL.  I will move it back to Shoretrooper WIPs after you are approved.

So today I sanded down the printed lines followed by filling those decent gaps with polyester putty. I sprayed it with a thick coat of spray putty. It's now super smooth for it later to be damaged again which is ironic in some way :)

Looking forward to see your build.... and hopefully we can troop together in the future. Since you're from the Netherlands, that's not so unlikely. Greetings from Germany!

Hello Laubi, you're right! When we are out of the situation we're now in, hopefully we could meet sometime in future troops!

Yesterday I finished up the Faulds armor. Montana Gold Sahara Beige paint was used followed by weathering; Black/brown washing and filed down the edges.

I added the oiler pouch and the three shotgun shells with the help of hot glue and felcro.

Also the helmet is almost finished. I just need to add the foreshield with the red orange emblem and the curved lens which is ordered again, because I made a misstake of using a hot air gun to the tinted plastic which it really didn't liked.

Shoulders are almost near completion. Last thing is to paint the color codes bands. Spray paint is Shock Kent Blood Red 3020. After that it's weathering time. Using Blackwashing to darken it a bit and some scratches to meet the screenshots.

Still needs weathering and I also want to darken the red a bit while weathering.

It sure can!

Is there something for me to do in terms of editing the picture using photoshop or any other editing software or is this your task to fit the picture into the future CRL?

No I can handle that.  Just make sure all your pictures are high resolution.  I will have you email them to me when we are ready.

I'm working this week on three things, namely: shins and kidney armor. I'm planning on finishing the shins and kidney armor this or early next week. Meanwhile my printers are working 24/7 pumping out chest pieces, abdominal pieces and back pieces. Those are the last pieces to the puzzle. Near completion!
