mickeymark34
Good evening Scouts. For the first time, I have used Devcon to close the seam where my cap and back of my helmet are joined.mDo you guys have tips on sanding it down? Thanks in advance for the guidance. Stroker
It takes some work I do know that. Sand, rest, repeat. That's about the best advice I can give along with keeping a close eye on the job.

mickeymark34
Here’s a few pictures of my progress. I may have to add a little more, but I feel it should be easier now that I have that base layer to work with.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Stroker
Keep it as smooth as possible now so when it comes time to sand it'll be a little easier.
mickeymark34
I think I’m going to use an latex glove to do the rest. I think I’d have better control over what I’d be applying. I used a wooden coffee stirrer on the first application.
