Morning, Pathfinders. I hope everyone is having an enjoyable Sunday and Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

I was just checking out Make-A-Wish's website and it says sadly that "2,412 wishes have been postponed due to COVID-19." I want to find a way to make our Virtual Troop on May the 4th promote our charitable mission, so this is what I propose:

On May 4, 2020, suit up in your Pathfinder costume, take a pic, and post it along with your TB/CB/ST ID in the provided post either on the forum or our FB page. Then make any donation you like to "fundraiser@501stpathfinders.com". You will receive a "2020 Supporter" forum badge for participating!

If you can't suit up for whatever reason on May the 4th, just post a picture of yourself in Pathfinder costume along with your ID in the space provided that day.

If you can't donate, that's okay too! You will still get a "2020 Supporter" Badge on your Pathfinders Forum profile for participating in our Virtual Troop. We understand this is a tough time for many of you and we don't want anyone to donate if it's a hardship.

The Virtual Troop will run for 24 hours so we can cover the whole world. So from 00:00 GMT on May the 4th until 23:59 (where ever you are!).

Once the Virtual Troop is over, we will then make a donation to Make-A-Wish!

I look forward to seeing you all (online) May the 4th!

Great idea! I doubt I’ll have my armor in by the 4th or if I do that I’ll be approved by then, but hey, the force might prove favorable. I’ll definitely donate regardless though.

BUMP!

Hey Pathfinders, just a reminder that our May the 4th Virtual troop starts midnight GMT on 4 May 2020 and runs until it turns midnight in your part of the world! I will be creating a post both here and on the forum where you can post a pic of yourself in your Pathfinder kit, your TB/CB/ST ID and (hopefully) whether you made a donation for Make-A-Wish! Details are in the attached post.

NOTE: This is in NO WAY an official 501st troop. Detachments cannot authorize troops. Only Garrisons can do that. So this does not count toward your official 501st troop count.
Now let's show our Pathfinder pride and demonstrate to the world how committed we are to our mission of sharing the love of Star Wars and raising funds for worthy causes!
