Attaching the cummerbund to the chest armor

Recommended Posts

I've been looking at some builds and a problem I keep running into is my cummerbund keeps falling down from under the chest armor. I saw some solutions a long time ago but can't seem to find them again. I personally like using snaps, but I don't want to sew anything crazy into my cummerbund and ruin it.  Does anyone have some solutions to keep it tucked under the armor? Maybe velcro?

Thanks all!

I am looking using velcro on the top of the cumberbund an on the inside of the chest. I sewed the loop to the pouches and glued the hook into the chest. I just have a pic of the 'bund but none right now of the chest, but you get the jist.

That makes sense. My cummerbund is separate from the pockets so I may have to sew those together

I put some velcro on my flak vest to keep it in place.

I have plenty of photos of my setup in the thread below.
