hokie1 Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Hello All- Starting my boots this week. Got these two options. One on the left is from Wal-Mart and the one on the right is the Kingshow Water Resistant Premium Work Boots that were listed in the tutorial. Soles are very different. Which is best for Lancer? Thanks Hilary
Stroker Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 The one on the right is closer to the original boots. However I believe the soles are pretty hard to carve. The boot on the left does have a softer sole, but the sole color is wrong.
hokie1 Posted March 9, 2020 Author Posted March 9, 2020 Thanks for that. I thought the one on the right was the correct one. Good to know it will be harder to carve. I have a hot knife that might work.

Chopper Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 The boot on the right is the same type I used. Another thing ive found that really helps is to use a chisel-style xacto blade to cut the soles. 5
