Minimo
Good morning peeps! Finally finished up the bucket and the rest of the missing pieces. Hopefully my next set of pictures will be the ones I submit for basic approval!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Minimo
OK I have submitted for approval!!!! I did have a question. As stated, my goal is Vanguard, however I don't yet have a blaster (waiting on NL props to start working again). I know that I can't be approved until I have a blaster, but would love to start working on the armor towards that goal. Would it be out of place to submit for Vanguard with what I have? Here are some of the pics I submitted!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aradun
Congrats Joe! Watching your build has been great! And it’s nice to see all that hard work pay off. Well done!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ScaryGuy
Congrats Joe! I haven’t seen anything yet that would hold you back for Vanguard. One suggestion is to check the fit of your pants, looks a bit too big at the rear but maybe you just need to pull it up. Unfortunately 3D props is way behind, I have several garrison members waiting for orders which are months overdue. Might take long before he catches up. Judging by their posts it does look like they will be very backlogged as they are still taking in orders... But it’s all for a good cause, so more power to them. Thank you for the recommendation on the pants, I will definitely pull them up!!! Ok, I will take some new pics and put my Vanguard submission in!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Minimo
Sorry if I was confusing, but you do need that blaster for your Vanguard application. I was just referring to the armor. No, not confusing, I had seen the requirement for the blaster in a previous post. Was just wondering If i could/should get everything else knocked out or if I should wait for the blaster before I even start a thread.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I think it is allowed but then the application would be on hold for possibly months. During that time you might make changes to your costume so you would need to update your application again. @BikerScout007 what is your stance on this?

If you're intending on carrying a blaster you should just wait. If your app sits open for more than six months we would have you reapply anyway. Don't worry we're not going anywhere!

shedquarter
Inspirational build log mate. Will be back here plenty for referance to my build. Which rustoleum paints did you use for the undercoats and did it react at all to the Montana Gold Paint? Thanks, Shed
Minimo
Inspirational build log mate. Will be back here plenty for referance to my build. Which rustoleum paints did you use for the undercoats and did it react at all to the Montana Gold Paint? Thanks, ShedHey thank you so much, it has been an awesome journey!! Feel free to reach out for anything! For the undercoat I used restoleum satin dark walnut paint-primer, I also used rustoleum as my clear coat before weathering and after i was done with everything.I did have some issues with the one of the clear coats on a shin which ate up the dark brown and i had to redo everything. I believe it was mostly weather related and improper deployment on my part.I cant speak to using montana gold as an undercoat first hand. However, I have become a huge fan of the brand. If i had to redo, would likely go with a montana dark brown for the undercoat...So to recap the only negative reaction i had was throwing a rustoleum clear coat on a rustoleum dark brown.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Minimo
Hello peeps, hope you are all safe! I finished up my armor box and am glad to report everything fits. I tried doing the bucket emblem on the wheels, but the result was very “meh”.... As far as my blaster, I have been hesitant to reach out to 3D props as it appears they are having some issues. Not entirely sure what to do... Don’t really want to print one up myself... Will likely wait to see how they are doing a few months from now... Minimo
Hope all are well! I decided to take a leap of faith and placed and order for a DIY E22 kit from 3D props. Now I just need to do some research on how to put it together and make it accurate!!! Fingers crossed!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm in the middle of printing Sean Fields E-22 myself so I checked out his thread too. Here's a better link to it And don't forget Stefan's main E-22 article:
