Scout Trooper Helmet Padding

Hello all. I'm currently building my first Scout and am curious how you may have padded your helmet. One thing I'm looking at is the Imperial Surplus Headband Kit. Does any have any recommendations or pointers? Thank you so much for your time!

Hello and welcome. I use military pads in mine. Cheap and easy. They can be removed for cleaning.

What vendor helmet are you working with? Some are better suited to the 3M hard hat liner than others.

I used to use the hard hat liner, but I found myself getting headaches while wearing it more often than not.  I removed it and replaced with helmet pads like these

Added that to my Amazon Biker Scout wish list!

I've just begun my scout build... but in my Jango, TK and Tusken... I'm a fan of going to WalMart and getting a $12 t-ball batting helmet and removing the padding from it and velcroing it into my buckets. It provides a very snug fit if that is what you want.
