Help with Biker Scout Blaster Scope

Hi, I recently assembled a biker scout blaster (EC-17) kit.  I wanted to put some clear plastic in the ends of the scope, but when I tried to use super glue, it fogged up the plexiglass pretty bad.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to stick some glass or plexiglass inside the scope ends?

Thanks.

Stroker is right on. E6000, which is silicone based contact cement, will adhere the clear plastic disc to the blaster.

Assuming your blaster is not rubber, you could also use canopy cement, which dries clear and is sold in model/hobby stores.

Got it, thanks guys!  I appreciate the advice!

I'm hoping my armor arrives sometime this coming week, and I will be able to finally submit for my Biker Scout armor.

The original blasters were just resin casts , no glass in the scopes . I thought glass lenses would prevent the blaster clearing for the 501 st ... but maybe I'm wrong . Worth thinking about for accuracys sake tjough .

Your 100% correct. However the blaster is not needed for basic approval.

The hold up would be for level 2.

Hold-out Blaster
  • Flat or semi-gloss black.
  • Blaster does not have any visible trigger.
  • Blaster is lightly weathered.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
  • The scope has lens discs cut into the scope for a more realistic appearance.
  • No decals representing cross hairs or similar.
  • No drilled barrels. The screen used ones did not have drilled barrels.

One of those crl oddities . You need a holster for basic but not a blaster to go in it ...and then for level two it asks for a blaster which has lenses which are not screen accurate .

It's not asking for a glass lens. Its asking for the cuts in the scope.  I think the wording could definitely be better though.  Let's get this cleaned up.
