Bicep Elastic Size Confirmation..SC Armor

Hello All.  New here on my build.  Have a SC kit, older one, that I am working on.  Want to try and hit Level 2.  On the bicep armor the standards say 2 inch elastic.  However the SC armor that I have is 1.5 inches.  Do I need to make the hole bigger for the 2 inch elastic or have I read the standard for Level 2 wrong?  Thanks!

You read it correctly. Yes it has to be 2" for level 2. Just take a file or a Dremel and make the slot big enough to accept the 2" elastic.

I did the same with mine, and was able to use heavy duty scissors to cut a bigger hole, then used an exacto knife and folded light sandpaper to finish the hole.
