Got my Wampa wear gloves. I ordered a medium because I have smaller hands and was a little worried based on some comments I’ve seen here that they wouldn’t fit, but they are fine. A little thick in the lining, I imagine these get sweaty in the summer troops.

I’ve been researching visor lens for the helmet, and a lot I’ve seen are green tinted including trooper bay, but the CRL says they are black. Not sure why there is this discrepancy?

Also, I did not get stickers for my back tank, anyone try to paint these on? Or should I just order stickers to use?

I’m almost done with painting the rest of the helmet, I’ll post pics for feedback when I’m done.

Also currently confirming and ordering extra straps, zip ties, suede and other misc items that I need. I already have white vinyl material, I am comparing it against other build pics to see if it looks thick enough to stand up.

The visor should be black, not green. Most folks cut a visor out of a welders shield, like this one, then hot glue it into the faceplate: https://www.amazon.com/Hobart-770580-Shield-Replacement-Shaded/dp/B002VECKRO

Don't paint the stripes on your back tank. Jeff should have added tank stickers to your kit, that's usually standard. You should email him if you didn't get them included.

Otherwise, you can use these: https://trooperbay.com/decals/prop-replica-decals/star-wars-props/scouts-tb/biker-scout-tank-decals

Is there a preference to permanently attach armor at the shoulder so it slides on over your head every time, or keep them as separate pieces that you attach when you troop?

Same with shoulder bells? I’ve seen some pics and tutorials where they are permanently attached to the shoulders and slide on every time, others where they are attached when putting them on to troop. I’m going to zip tie route.

I've seen both and a lot of it depends on personal preference and bin storage space.

My chest/back are attached on the underside with velcro. My shoulder bells are zip tied to my shoulder bridge covering straps and those close with velcro on the bottom side.

I keep my armor assembled in the bin, but both thre chest/back, as well as the shoulder bells are attached with velcro, so disassembly is an option if needed.

I keep my front and back separate on my snowie and I like nesting them in my bin, but in checking with other local scouts how they do theirs it seems like keeping them together is more popular even if they are able to be separated. I may play either both options to see which I like better

I received my jumpsuit and boots today, both fit fine, except I have a little bit of bagginess in the suit sleeves and legs, and I plan to Taylor those while I’m working on modifying the collar. I want to try to break in the boots a bit too before I start trooping them.

I have the straps glued to one side of the arm pieces and after I finish modifying the jumpsuit I will fit the straps to my arms in the jumpsuit and finish gluing them.

If you mean connecting the shoulder bell to the bridge with both a velcro strap between the two, as well as a zip tie, then no, that would not be allowed for level 2.

Still slowly working on my build.  most recently I was modifying the flight suit and adding the suede patches but I took a break, and the last couple of weeks I’ve been sewing masks for my family
