Tb5628
What does everyone use for their chest decal rectangle? An actual decal, some type of sticker? Does anyone paint it on? Need to replace me decal and looking at what current optuons are.
Stroker
I used a trooperbay decal sheet I had laying around. I just cut the rectangle out of the extra gray area of the sheet.

Stroker
It's a store for everything that's trooper related. I used the snout decal to cut the rectangle from. greenyone
Could probably just use something like this. https://www.amazon.com/EasyPSV-Permanent-Adhesive-Sheets-Graphite/dp/B079SWJLCY/ref=sr_1_10?crid=2XSZR0CWPDSTQ&keywords=grey+vinyl+cricut&qid=1581345476&sprefix=grey+vinyl+cricu%2Caps%2C152&sr=8-10 Or even find something similar in a craft store. CatfoodRob
It was painted on the movie suits ...so why not just paint it ? Decals just look wrong .

Elephant Knight
I went with the painting route. It made the most sense to me. EKnight
Retrofire
Easiest upgrade to make with your armor. Get yourself some good painters tape. Frog or 3M are good Tamaiya modeling tape is best but a tad pricey. Make sure you take your fingernail and burnish the edge of the tape to promote a good seal. Mask off the area and use Humbrol enamel paint typically a medium grey. Paint several coats but allow each coat to dry in between or you risk getting brush marks in it. It drys hard as a rock and looks great. The humbrol is the same paint most TKs use for their armor and you can get it from Trooperbay or your local hobby shop. You can carefully remove the mask after your second coat sets but remove it before the paint dries or you risk pulling the paint off with the tape. Sound more complicated than it is but it’s really easy to do.
