Koenig
Looking for a jump suit to get started on and I found a nice one from Tru-spec and was wondering if it was usable or not? I was hoping to find one with the sued already on it but so far have not found one.

Probably because they are inexpensive and don't have a lot of complicated pockets and zippers that would need to be removed to bring it up to CRL standard. The modifications needed for those common ones are well documented here on the forum. If you want to explore other types of coveralls or flight-suits your best bet is to offer up a link so we can all see it and offer up opinions and advice.
Koenig
This is the one I found but I had considered Dickies as well. I will have to look for those write ups and see if I can find any local. https://tacticalgear.com/tru-spec-poly-cotton-twill-27-p-flight-suits-black?hp=y&sku=2653006&pa=428809534827181&gclid=CjwKCAiA66_xBRBhEiwAhrMuLQGk4PDZ_Fs-4i6gV6mDXNlflasHnem9uzlFgjOTTBfcllQ1g0Y7XRoCHV8QAvD_BwE#/7211/653,2540/1&dl=b

There's going to be a ton of pockets and zippers to remove. There's also those side pockets, which, if I recall correctly, are difficult to sew up and conceal once the zipper is removed. As an alternative to the RedKap coveralls, you could also look at these, which are a bit lighter and breathe better. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BK87DYM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Red Kap is good and the one Chopper linked above looks great, especially if it lighter weight that the Red Kap which is a bit heavy. Chopper’s recommendation even looks a bit more tapered, which may mean less altering. If you’re looking for one with the suede patches then be prepared to pay a LOT. Etsy would be a good place to start, but post a link here if you’re considering anything from there as not all vendors are equal.

AradunFF I know with the sued it will be more but I think im going to go with the one chopper linked as I like the idea of it being lighter as well. Now I just will have to find the links for getting it into code. Then I can start on the rest.

mmmtoastyboy
My first one was a flight suit and was very thin. It didnt last long till I had holes. Switched to a red kap which is much thicker.
