Kegluneq Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 While waiting on my armor to be made and shipped I'm working on my jumpsuit and other soft parts. For the suede riding patches I have heard that they should end about 1 inch/2.5 cm above the knee armor. Is there any template I can print out and make from cardboard so I can get the patches (and boots eventually) to be on spec? Thanks all!
Stroker Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Not really we just traced out a rough design and tweaked it from there. I'm sure you've already seen this.

Yeah, I printed that exact picture and my plan is to mark and cut an old pair of pajama pants to make a pattern for my suede. I just wanted to line up my pattern with a knee armor mock-up just to make sure my riding patches were an acceptable length.
