Whiskey Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 I know there are already a lot of images in the Mandalorian category, but thought id add mine in hopes they‘ll help. Here are pics I took of the Mandalorian Scout at SDCC. I cannot confirm if this costume is screen used. Notice the glove clip No holster slots cut out? Pouches sewn right up to the vertical stitches. No tabs sewn above the pouches Return edges on the bottom of the shoulder armor? Looks like these elastic strapping for the shoulders, biceps, forearms, and knees
Chopper Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Thank you Whiskey. Is that a one-piece cod/bund combo? 1
Tarrif Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 The armor used on screen is from Walt's Trooper Factory, and the soft parts and boots were done by Steph Mortimer. The helmet I'm not too sure. I've heard EFX, and I've heard it's a mix of EFX and WTF face plate. Great pictures! Not sure if they're the ones used in the show, but general sum and substance matches.
Whiskey Posted January 12, 2020 Author Posted January 12, 2020 Focusing on this chest armor mark...it’s definitely not Adam Pally or Jason Sudeikis
Tarrif Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 It's not on either of the scouts in Episode 7 either.
TKZombie Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 The flight suit is wrong, the leg pockets are angled and the onscreen version they are straight across.

Dragon_a Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 They've got their knees on upside down 😉 1 1

Whiskey Posted January 13, 2020 Author Posted January 13, 2020 On Friday, people were taking pics of my scout on front of theirs while I was walking through the Lucasfilm pavilion. 2 guys from behind the wall came out looking at me. They adjusted the bund for Saturday 3
Dart Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 The undersuit just looks like a plain black imperial jumpsuit. The collar flap even has a point to it.

bobafett4ever Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 From the SDCC pic, it look like on the front of the holster, instead of just putting 5 slits in for venting, it appears they cut another strip of ABS, cut the openings in that, and then pasted it onto the holster. What do you guys think? I can't seem to find a clear pic from the show, so only going by the pics above. In the grande scheme of things, is this something that will matter or should, for now, we just cut the 6 slits into the holster?

The problem with the SDCC scout is that we don't know what was done to it to get it ready for display. Or what state it was in when they got it from the production. We had similar issues with the many Shoretrooper armors that were on display after Rogue One -- they had little odds and ends that were different than what we saw on screen. At the end of the day, what we see on the screen is what we go by. 1
