Zombie43_Reborn
Greetings from Massachusetts. I am currently a Shriner Clown looking to build a Mandalorian Biker Scout and join the local Garrison. I have purchased a P37 satchel, strap, rank insignia and sound box recommended from a current 501st member who is a Biker Scout himself, need the armor and weapons now. Problem is, I have no idea where to begin my journey for the suit. Any and all help will always be so appreciated. Thank you.

Also a 3 time past master of my blue lodge. I don’t currently belong to a unit in my temple. I moved to Cincinnati 4 years ago. In my previous temple in belonged to a model T unit and a motor cycle unit. I’m just starting to get into this myself as well and trying to find all the pieces for my scout trooper good luck Brother Noble

The Ohio Garrison has an "Academy" Program to help prospective members with their builds, and even attempts to pair them up with an approved member who has done a similar costume to offer advice, and once Social Distancing is relaxed again, in person help. The Academy can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/424411774598576
tim0424
I live in Kentucky can you join an Ohio garrison if you live in another state? Although I do only live 10 miles from Ohio. I’ve been in touch with the Bluegrass garrison and made a few contacts so far. Great group giving me pointers of what to get, etc. and offering to help. So far the 501st seems to be a good group. Cadet
Technically you would be Blue Grass based on Geography. However, that shouldn't stop you from joining the Ohio Garrison Academy page to see if some of our Cincinnati area members can assist with your build, or even feeling free to Troop in Ohio and sign up for our Event Forums once you are an official member! Also, if you do join and find yourself doing more events in Cincinnati/Ohio than you do Kentucky, you can request a special transfer to the Ohio Garrison. Over the years we have had a few people actually go both ways, a few Northern Kentucky people request to have their membership transferred to Ohio and a few Southern Ohio people request to have their membership transferred to Kentucky! As long as both Garrison COs don't mind, its not a big deal.
