Bob Fortuna
I can't seem to find any vendors for the flak vest part of the soft goods. Any ideas where I can find one? Preferably in the United States.

Chopper
Steph Mortimer makes them using the t-shirt method and is in the US. Otherwise, not a whole lot of US-based options. https://m.facebook.com/groups/1517600621664236?group_view_referrer=profile_browser While not in the US, there's KriptonTop on Etsy. He makes really nice flak vests. Just make absolutely sure to select FedEx shipping. https://www.etsy.com/listing/251067728/star-wars-biker-scout-trooper-vest-flak?ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1
ScottF
KriptonTop on Etsy sells all soft parts. I got my flak vest from there. Shipping was expensive but it looks great.
mmmtoastyboy
Yikes, don't pay that much for the vest. Find an armor party and see if someone can bring a sewing machine and follow that shirt tutorial.
Bob Fortuna
I am going to look into a budget sewing machine and probably do the t-shirt method.
mmmtoastyboy
Mine cost less than $100. I use it a lot.
nsbuff28
So I did the t-shirt method and once I had it in the right size I pulled it apart and used it as a template to make one out of thicker material. I’m pretty rough on my stuff when I get dressed and it is holding strong!
nsbuff28
Here is mine after I used the t-shirt one as a template. You can see I kept the sleeves from my t-shirt one. The photo is before I fixed the Velcro on the front lolSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
