f3tt4l1f3
I'm currently working on modding my 3D printed helmet to the screen used helmet images. Looking at the rear "indents" in this image, the 8th one (closest to the center of the back) appears to be a bit wider than the other 7. I did a quick look through the scout scenes in ROTJ but could never find one that had the larger, 8th, "indent" like the above image. However, I did see a few that had a 9th "indent" that was really thin (almost nonexistent). My main question is, if I mod my "indent" pattern to match the above image, will I have to take it back to the 8 uniform "indents" if I decide to try for lancer level later on? BikerScout007
We've never held it against anyone that has either 7 or 8 indents in the back. I'm wondering if the 9th one you saw is actually the seam in the helmet where it was assembled in two halves.
f3tt4l1f3
The thin (9th) "indent" could very well be due to the seam. It appears that since the seam runs through that area, they weren't very consistent on how they filled it in. This image is a screen-cap of the scout that tried to capture Leia. There's a very thin, faint line. Most likely due to the seam.
Chopper
That's definitely a mould seam line. Nice attention to detail in your research though.
