Shoretrooper grunt 3D print

Recommended Posts

So I thought I’d better upload a WIP as I want to go for UKG with my shoretrooper.

The helmet is cast in the correct colour resin. It is the Nico Henderson design. The eye bags are built into the lens via vac forming by myself using a modified buck from Nico. Texture applied via the paint with blood orange emblem on it.

The armour is Sean Fields with the Joel Carter mods to the back, chest, shoulder bells and forearms.

Painted montana gold correct beige paint on all weathered with burnt umber.

Shirt is a Long sleeve T-shirt pattern using chord material and netted material. Airtex to add under the arms.

Simplicity modded for the trousers using duck cloth.

Belt as per crl along with buckle.

Bought the straps and buckles as a good find on eBay for £50 but are correct to the crl.

I’ve gone heavy weathered due to the volume of smoke on scarif after the battle  as an ex firefighter I know how much carbon goes on everything so I’ve gone with that

Think that’s enough for tonightFrn4MPT.jpg

Hi

Good luck with it.

If i may, i would reconsider how you apply your wash, as i can see on your helmet, it runs.

The teqnik i used, was dip a sponge in the wash, apply, not to much, let it sit for like 10-20 sec dap it off with a micro fiber clothe to give it texture. Build it up in layers so you get the heavy weathering.

Let the firts layer sit for atleast half an hour before working on it againe

Hope it can help 🙂
