swannyy13 Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Hey guys, just looking to get as much info as possible before committing to buying any parts. I think I’m sold on the SC armor kit for biker scout, pricing and quality seems good to me. I have been reading that their helmets run a bit small and I have a head a bit on the larger side. Otherwise I’m 5’9”, 165 pounds. Looking at an Altman helmet to accommodate my size, but I’ve seen some helmets are coated/painted differently. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the setup I’d like to run, and see how everything matches up in terms of sizing and color. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!
Stroker Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 At one time I had that same setup. It matched up almost perfectly. There's several scouts around here that has a SC/ALT setup. Maybe one of them will chime in. 2
Chopper Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I was initially approved with the SC/Altmann combo. It's a very popular one and they work well together. 1
CRex75 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Myself and another Garrison member have the sc armor and Altman setup. There isn’t enough color variation to stand out and keep you from getting approved. The Scout link Below is a link to a few pics of me and another scout in my Garrison. We both have the Altmann and SC kit.,
Jakeputt Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Thats what ive got, i have dirtied mine all up myself. But i like my kit.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk 1
Barber Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I can chime in as well as having an Altman helmet/SC armor. They match up great. Spike really does a fantastic job on his helmets. You won't be disappointed. 2
Canterbury Tail Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 I have SC armour and Altman helmet. Not painted either of them, just straight plastic and had zero approval or trooping issues. 1
