ScoutKI Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 Im finally getting close to finishing for approval. Got some tank decaling to do...then pics. Question: How do we keep from fogging up our lenses. With all the layers it gets warm quickly... Thanks
Dmorja Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 I use dish soap. Rub it on the lens, wait about a minute and wipe it off with a paper towel. A firefighter taught me that trick at a troop.Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk 1 1
Chopper Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 A popular trick is to leave a small gap between the bottom edge and the face plate. You can't see it if you're looking at the helmet straight on and it helps to keep the lens from fogging. Ive also heard from some of the tk's and ti's that a product called "cat crap" anti fog works well to keep the lenses clear, though I haven't tried it myself. 3
