Hi brothers

Here is the construction of my Dlt-20 from 3DPRINTINGFORGE

https://www.etsy.com/fr/listing/682496366/star-wars-dlt-20-a-dlt-20-a-dlt-20?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=dlt-20&ref=sr_gallery-1-4&organic_search_click=1&pro=1

I ordered it as a kit.

Regarding delivery, timely and well packaged.

first opinion, it looks very big. some parts still require cleaning the excess material.

The assembly

Parts are difficult to assemble, hole too small and tip too big. But after a large sanding, the parts fit perfectly with a slight tightening (which is good).

Everything is glued to the epoxy glue.

Between some elements, an opening was visible. I filled the hole with a putty paste.

For more safety, I drill a hole along the length of the weapon to introduce an aluminum bar, fix with putty paste.

Here I used an aerosol filler joint. A layer, a sanding, a layer, a sanding, again and again. Except for the barrel, where I left the printing marks, to keep a machining effect.

I started to put layers of matte black.

I still have a few layers of black, and do all the weathering.

The following will come

Do you prefer the aerosol filler over XTC? I imagine the application would be easier.

I confess that I know absolutely nothing about it.

He is a friend who is used to 3D printing, who advise me the products.

Next step, the weathering with tips in friends, warhammer figurine specialist.
I used the painting: Citadel - Bolt Gun Metal.

Only the layer of varnish remains, to protect all this.

And after, go for troop
