Hi all,

So before I take my first step into the next level for my scout costume I just wanted to ask one thing.

I understand Lancer comes down to how it's worn as well as the requirements pointed out in the CRL, but I wanted to ask how Chefs Creations level 2 (Lancer) spec softs?

I'm looking to update my Cumberbund, Flak vest, Pouches, belt box straps and Codpiece.

Trying to match as close to the fabrics/materials used on screen. Any help would be appreciated :)

Chef is a former pathfinder detachment co, so he's pretty good about keeping up with the crl updates. I saw a post in July where he mentioned that he's using new bund fabric here:

He should be good with the bund, cod, and vest. Out of curiosity, what updates do you need to do with your drop box strapping?

Cheers for that, is there any others youd recommend? I mainly want to shift to an off white, rather than the brilliant white look :)

Off white can be hard to find. I myself think all the scouts had same white pouches and strapping. The off white color is just from shooting in the redwoods and the scout stuff being tossed around. If I was gonna go off white I use the tea method of dyeing.

Thanks for the tea bath idea! Got the pouches drying now. Managed to source some off-white strapping from a friend for the chest and belt boxes :)d07298254d8b881538f304f107d55548.jpg6a7a2981903c5138c3b5965b43ea984b.jpg

Hey dude, just one pointer for you -- what you've got there looks like cotton twill tape. You should try and use 1.5"/40mm white cotton webbing, like this:

Had a bit of a catch at the tea bath, hand washing one of the pouches as a test (right side). I couldn't ask for some feedback on this? Colouration wise? 2c27a825eb0a23f39c00bb2db84481c7.jpg30af62409be7a45be58206efcd004fe9.jpgca11b0ff927418d94b236a094ab6bef9.jpg
