G day,

I've been working to get my Studio Creations Armour finished for the OZ Comicon on the 21st of this month.

My helmet is a Rubies that I added a resin greeblie to and re painted it.

Made the Cumberbund, Cod and pouches myself, think I did pretty good for a dude that's never used a sewing machine before. which I bought 2nd hand.

Just have to do a few modifications the the jumpsuit/overalls and I should be good to go.

G'day Greg, so your  from the Southern Cross Garrison yeah?.

You did a good job on the pockets and bun.

Modifying the jumpsuit not my favourite part.

Thanks,

I'm in Brisbane so the Redback Garrison is closest to me. I've joined their forum but when it comes to getting approval for my trooper kit I'm at an impass. to get a TB number, I'm not too keen on making a flack jacket simply for the fact its too damn hot here. And I aint gonna wear it primarily for that fact.

Looks great.  I like the glasses case belt clip solution.

My GML was not satisfied with the light shade of gray of the SC hose out of the box.  You may find the same with yours.  If so this works good. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Krylon-COLORmaxx-Gloss-Classic-Gray-Spray-Paint-and-Primer-In-One-Actual-Net-Contents-12-oz/1000460333

Thanks for the heads up with the colour, I'm a scale modeler as well and have a rather large array of gray if I have to change it.

And I'll make a WIP thread for sure if that'll help mate.

Thanks for looking

I pinched the clips off two Glasses Cases to hold the TD onto the belt.

I am assuming this is just the material off of the glasses case clips to give the det clips more grip?

No they are the actual clips off the glasses case mate. They are hard plastic with enough tension to hold the det on securely.
