yoshix
I was going to post these pictures in Banzai88's thread 'DICE BF2 REFERENCE' But then I saw that you aren't supposed to post your photos in other people's threads. So this photo is so bada** its making me want to camo up my white variant kashyyyk trooper. I tried to lighten it up to get some more detail. I dont know or understand how they made these photos to I don't know just how official they actually are. But man, they look good! Then I found a few that take some liberties with dark green markings and different blasters.
BikerScout007
Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Some interesting variants of the main trooper in there. May be something worth looking into.
ferra
Some interesting new looking parts/details I might add... The vest still looks gray to me :D(old dispute but in good fun) And in these images the lenses do not look reflective, in the movie they do(to my eyes).
yoshix
I found a few more. 3 hours ago, ferra said: The vest still looks gray to me :D(old dispute but in good fun) Lol, agreed.
ferra
The gloves look more and more a separate thing from the "gauntlet". Gauntlet looks fabric like the suit, see the texture in the last pic? Neckseal is SOOO different... Anyone got stills from the back, only one of these has the fishhook decal on the side, and none have the teardrops/eyelashes thingy below the lens anyone noticed that? Curious about the trapezoids and bars...
ferra
Guys just a quick question as I am not a gamer, this character(and its variations) is official in the Battlefron 2 game, is that it?

I have not played Battlefront 2 yet, but I assume so. So some of these variants may be something we can add to the Detachment.
ferra
That's my idea. But there really are differences between these guys and the movie ones... Not to mention the variants...

ferra
Got it now Sir! To all the players seeying this can you please email me High Res pictures of the charaters? Please spread the word I won´t mind the excess of pictures: luis.m.canto@gmail.com You can WeTransfer or Dropbox them to me. yoshix
I wish I could say for sure that they are officially from the game but they could very well be fan made. I'm not really a gamer either and haven't played battlefront. I saw this mod in doing research and found it very interesting. A normal scout with camo armor. But I'm pretty confident that is fan made. This could be legit. In the video description it says "The brand new 41st Elite Clone scout trooper skin is part of the new Where are the Droidekas? Update! This is the iconic look from Revenge of the Sith." If it is a fan made skin, its a really good job!
yoshix
Looks like the The Where are those Droidekas? Update came out on June 26th. The 41st Scout Battalion appearances will be classed as Epic and will be available for 40,000 credits or 1,000 crystals. I dont see any info on the dark green makings so the could be fan made simply using the skin (or so I imagine)

We're gonna need the usual -- front, back, sides. From top to bottom. We need to make sure there aren't any changes say to the boots or anything else like that. Looks like some of the pouches may be a different color as well?

I've got a good buddy in my squad that is going to get some 360 screen shots for me. I'm not going to start painting the dark green until after a Veterans Day Parade troop we have coming up on the 10th of November. So we definitely have some time before then to decide what definitely needs to be included/ changed.
yoshix
I got some new photos of the officer but before I post them I wanted to point out one thing I noticed really quick. The specialist seems to be the only one with dark green boot straps.
ferra
I think it depends on the lighting and we should consider them all as the regular color on the CRL:

As far as I'm concerned though, I'd be fine if we didn't add that detail to the CRL.

Love the suit from top to bottom and would like to start working on this. If this is not a CRL yet I would love to be the one to eventually do it. but currently in the middle of a Vader build. Any info or direction to this CRL in progress would be great!

I saw that but expected the green to be darker in color when it comes to the camo. Well cool! I love the upside down T. I wonder if we can add "Versions" to this like the Gunner has. its all the same setup but has different paint schemes or little things changed here and there? hmmmm
BikerScout007
The color choices were decided on based on this shot where the armor is actually in bright sunlight, and not the shadowy lighting of the selection screen:

Different eye area and taller, narrower top dome. I will be doing this build it seems, instead of ROTS. Hope it's OK to comment here
