lagces Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Hello Guys thanks a lot in advance for all your suggestion and comment! I will start posting my helmet please feel free to say any comment I willl try to be very accurate as my possibilities thanks!! 1
ScaryGuy Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Good to see you created a WIP! Overall the helmet looks good, here are some remarks: There should be an extra black line near the visor. The ridge along the bottom of the lens opening should be black, and ideally stop before the nose. On your helmet it continues along the nose to the other side. The emblem should be an orange-red color. Montana Gold Red Orange is a good alternative for the Pantone color mentioned in the CRL. The sahara beige color looks a bit light in the picture, did you give the entire helmet a black wash? Good be just the lighting or camera. Weathering looks good though! 1 1

lagces Posted September 9, 2019 Author Posted September 9, 2019 Ok I will do, by the way do you know in Pantone code the desert gold equivalent? Please let me know thanks!

Sorry, I don’t. I also don’t think there is a direct conversion from Montana Gold to Pantone. But the color you are using looks fine for basic approval. Can you take a picture outdoor with natural lighting? That will probably give a better impression of the actual color.
lagces Posted September 9, 2019 Author Posted September 9, 2019 Could you tell me which Pantone code is the red orange please,

TK8271 Rogue Trooper Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Hi well done so far , just a few things to note The emblem on the helmet is just painted in and not engraved Like this I can’t see if you have added the second level around the eyes like this Also I take it you ha e not added the fin greeblies at the end of the mandibles or the snout greeblie You will need to improve the rear housing so the straps fit in Like this Has your hand guards got the oblong reccess which seems to be missed out a lot Like this I am sure it’s still a working progress but I thought I would point these areas out Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
lagces Posted December 10, 2019 Author Posted December 10, 2019 Hello Guys thanks for all your comments and suggestion, here all the armor done, I already made the change you gave me please let me know your opinion to pass to the soft parts, thanks a lot in advance
ScaryGuy Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 I'm not sure what happened at the rear of the legs, but that T-shaped cover is not correct. The cover strip consists of two layers, a thick bottom one and a second one on top of that one (actually slightly recessed in the screen used costume). This is the screen used, left is the Rogue One TK which has the same cover strip. Also note that the shins in the picture are not dressed properly and are slightly open. You can make one like this with pieces of abs. Also you shouldn't use tape to keep those straps up. Use something like velcro to connect them to the shins. The buckle should not be mounted on the front armor piece of the shin, but moved to the side. There should a piece of the strap visible in front of the buckle like this. This also applies to the bottom buckle. The vents of the right greeblies box and the edge around lower left insert should be painted too, 1

lagces Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 Hello guys here my pics just adjusted all the suggestion please let me know your comments 1
ScaryGuy Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Good job on the shins! When wearing the kama make sure you hide the flap behind the belt. A suggestion for improvement is extending the back plate so it meets the hard belt part, and fill the seams on the back.
