Biker Scout Boots

Recommended Posts

I was wondering about the scout trooper boots. On the “dog bone” part there are 2 lines of stitching on either side. If I don’t have the stitching present on the “dog bone” would my boots still be approvable?

Hey there, as per the crl, the double stitching is required for basic approval.

"Dog bones have double stitching along the rounded edges as seen in the film"

What color thread? It's preferable to use white as it's likely that the brownish color of the thread in the motm photos is from weathering and age.

Why not just use white? I mean after a few troops the thread starts to get that screen look. With brown you probably won't get that affect.
