Hey everyone! Just joined up after deciding start down the long path of completing the full armor set for the shoretrooper. I have pretty much finished the helmet  (minus padding and visor). Anyway looking forward to learning and creating as I go.

Hey James!

Welcome to the fun.  The Shoretrooper was a lot of work but it's a great costume and I love mine.  

Your emblem looks like it had a little bleed on the stencil?   You might want to redo that, and while you're at it... check out the latest on the emblem color

Thank you! Yea, I plan to redo it once I get the proper color and clean it up a little. I was impatient and just used some red that I had on hand. Thanks again for the welcome!

There are some areas on your helmet that should have been painted black, I marked them in green in these pictures:

Getting a curved lens is recommended (for example a motorcycle helmet visor), but for basic approval a flat lens is fine too.

Thanks. I'll touch those spots up for sure. I ordered a welders visor that should be arriving today. Had planned to use that if it's allowed.

Much appreciated! All done with the color corrections. Still waiting on the welders sheild... I also got some padding today and plan to add that once I order the chin strap.
