Helmet clear coat

Is it recommended to clear coat the helmet with the decals on, or apply them after the coat? 

I have a WTF bucket w/decals if it matters

Most of us dont use a clear coat. It can knock the shine off the helmet.  I'd apply them after the clear coat.

I assume the WTF helmet comes with adhesive decals? If that's the case, then it's not necessary to do a clearcoat. I would only recommend doing a clearcoat if you're doing an RS build with the waterslide decals. Otherwise, no clearcoat needed :)

They are sticker decals, that's one less thing i have to worry about pup hair getting into
