Omnimon98
Hi guys I’m in the process of building my Shoretrooper Captain. I actually started back in January and have been meaning to post here but just haven’t gotten around to it. So here are some photos of what I have gotten done so far. I also have all the soft parts but the belt at the moment. The armor is Sean Fields Design that I am in the process of 3D printing. BikerScout007
Hi Libby, Thanks for sharing your build progress with us. Is it just me or are your biceps a bit on the long side? Also the weathering is a little heavy to my eye. Look forward to the rest of your build!
Omnimon98
They fit me just fine, also I was a little worried the weathering might be a bit heavy but I honestly like it. I can contact my GML and see what they say about it, at least if I could figure out who my GML is.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ST79211
I would agree with bikerscout here, the weathering is a bit heavy, the blue is a bit dark. The scrathes/wear/tear i would make more natural in edges. Its a learning process, i repainted my own build serval times 🙂

The blue looks too dark though. It might be the overall lighting. What kind of paint did you use? What Garrison are you in? I'm sure we can help track down your GML.Sent from my Moto G (5S) Plus using Tapatalk
Omnimon98
I’m in Star Garrison, West Texas Squad, there was a group with the GMLs for my garrison that I was able to join so I am good on that. Also is this more the blue y’all are talking about?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Since the armor is Sahara Beige it makes sense to stick with the Montana Gold brand for the other colors. For level 2 the correct Ford Nordic blue is required, you can find some references here:
ScaryGuy
Also, as you continue make sure you prep the 3D prints properly, there are still print lines showing on your red bicep.
KOtrooper
I'd stick with the Montana Gold brand for your paints. It could go bad mixing acrylic with enamel paints. If you're hoping to go for Level 2 someday though - get the proper blue. It's a bit of a pain to repaint just the blue.
