How are the RS Props Decals?  Are they accurate. I have an extran set from another vendor. The RS seem to have a yellow edge

Given that RS took their measurements off of a screen used helmet, I'd say that their decals are extremely accurate :)

That said, fan sculpted helmets, such as the CB helmet, will have different proportions and dimensions, so the RS decals may not fit perfectly if you're using them on a different maker's helmet.

The RS decals are also waterslide decals, so you wet them, let them dry in place, then clear coat them later.

They are on an RS helmet and seem to look the right size but look at the yellow edge. The fishhook has it too.

Ah yeah, that's very likely a side effect of the clearcoat causing some yellowing on the clear edge of the waterslide decal.

Or if you haven't clearcoated it yet, then the waterslide decal itself has just yellowed, which can happen when they get old, but these sets shouldn't be that old.

Maybe that’s it. They about 2 years old? I bought it when the kits were first released. I’m just now getting around to assembling it. They sent two sets and the other is yellow on the paper.

I’ll have to order another set.

I’ll use my CB set for Celebration. They are stickers and easily removed. They are just a little smaller but color is spot on.

I got in on the dickey beer helmet run. My decals came like that and so did the rest that I've seen.
