Diadem
Do I notch out a square in my helmet for these bolts to pass through, or should I grind the square on the bolt down? Thanks! Brian

BikerScout007
Cut a square into your helmet. It will help hold it in place and keep it from spinning. 1

Thanks, that's what I figured but didn't want to cut it before knowing for sure.

I'm looking around for pictures of the helmet I built for my son. It was a KS but I wanted to use the correct bolts so I had to use a blade to cut squares to fit them. Bolts worked fine afterward! When I find the pics I will post them

Dart
Many moons of Endor ago, when I built my KS helmet, I just drilled a 1/2 inch hole and popped the bolt in. The corners of the square just dig into the plastic and keep it in place. Easier than drilling a square hole.
BikerScout007
Here they are. So you only need to cut the square in the flip up visor. The helmet part is fine with a round hole. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
