zijital Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 My hands often get fairly sweaty in the gloves I have (some vintage ones I found on ebay that aren't exact, but fairly close) & I'm thinking it's because they're designed to be used on a motorcycle driving fast with plenty of cold air moving over the gloves & so they have plenty of insulation. I was thinking if I can just (carefully) rip / cut the insulation out & hoping that would help my hands not get so hot. Anyone done this or something similar? Anyone know if I would need a liner in the glove instead of just the leather? Can I just cut out the insulation or do I have to completely take apart the gloves & then resew them back together?
Stroker Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 There's a topic somewhere around her where a scout removed the insulation/ lining out of a pair of scout gloves. I can't find it right now,but is been done and still look correct.
Aliaz Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 I remember that thread aswell. If I remember correctly you cut the liner and pull out the insulation.Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
zijital Posted March 20, 2019 Author Posted March 20, 2019 Thanks! Found it now after searching for "liner." Previous searching on sweaty, hot, cool, didn't pull up anything.
