spyder918
I thought about doing a build of my MC armor, but there's already some great builds on here to follow. But I will post things here and there, some tips/tricks I find that may work for you also. This first one is for the TD caps. I couldn't figure out a good way to 'hold' the tube in place while the glue was drying. So I found these 1in adapters in the plumbing department at Home Depot. What's great about these is the threading on them because they hold the tube in place and also having these on makes centering the tube a bit easier as well. I'm not sure if these will fit the clear braided vinyl tubing if you decide to go that route, but these for sure fit the plastic tubing that comes with a lot of kits. I'm sure you can find the correct adapter should you choose to go the clear braided vinyl route as well. I cut the ends off with a dremel, sanded the inner edges down a bit to follow the curvature of the end caps and also sanded down the threading too, just to make it fit a little better. Well enjoy and hope this is useful.

Dart
Many moons ago when I assembled my MC armour, a pair of soft drink caps were included for this exact reason. They fit within the tubing perfectly so you'd glue them to the inside of the end caps and then you still had some meat to glue into the ends of the tubes. Worked a treat!
