CatfoodRob Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 You are doing a fabulous job !!! On the feedback front , I've got two comments , first is the half inch elastic on the knees , I think using the pop rivet is a mistake . You will find the half inch elastic stretches and goes out of shape easily , especially if you have it tight enough to do its job ...what I am saying is that it will need replacing occasionally . Far better to have the pop rivet there for show, and Velcro the half inch elastic in position to make replacement simpler . Just a thought . Second point is also about pop rivets, a mistake almost everyone makes , the pop rivet on the tank topper goes in from underneath , the bit you can see on the tank topper is the load spreading washer and the end of the pop rivet . The head of the pop rivet is inside the tank . Question : how is the magnet holding the blaster ? I also tried that method but it didn't work for me , I ended up fitting a steel trigger gard and glueing a few magnets under my holster lip . It works fine now .
FN1313 Posted May 1, 2019 Author Posted May 1, 2019 So for my magnet I sanded down the circle on the left size of the blast grip a bit and then glued in a circular shaped magnet to that spot. Once it was secure I then set it in the holster and glued the connecting magnet on the inside area of the holster. Using the blaster to hold it in place while it adhered. 1 1
