Ctschurman
I am getting started soon on the strapping part of my armor. What rivets or guns do I use to install these? What hardware store is best? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BikerScout007
I use an older version of this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Arrow-Fastener-Economy-Rivet-Tool-RT100M/304679378 1/8 rivets are the size you need.

I use the same... they are cheap cost, do the trick, and somehow I have 2 laying around. Luckily you can get like a little kit with them too with a bunch of free rivets
Dart
I use one similar to what Mickey linked, but mine does 4 different sizes, which can come in handy. That said, there's different types (aluminum, Stainless Steel)... we're not putting a huge amount of weight on these rivets so aluminum is fine. Plus, if you mess up and need to drill out the rivet, aluminum is softer.
StudioCreations
A while ago, my local HomeDepot stopped carrying the backing-washers for the 1/8th rivets so I started buying my rivet supplies from Lowes Hardware. The backing washer keeps the rivet from flairing through the plastic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
