Anything short of rebuilding a new one. I’m wondering if you can just throw a glob of clear glue on it and see what happens. Might give you more time to figure out something.

I took the rivits out and its worse than i thought im gonna try bondo and abs paste but its looking like im gonna need a replacement. Its a shame because the belt is only 1 year old. ☹

I would try using Bondo, sanding it down, and try adding some ABS paste to it, so the color looks right. Good luck! In the future, you could try backing it up with wire mesh.

I went with Bondo and abs paste, didn't even think about using mesh but i'm sure this will fix the problem, if not then a new belt will.

Just a thought:

You could also (in addition to above suggestions)
make the soft belt-part do the heavy lifting, making one belt that goes all the way around your waist.
Attach the plastic beltboxes to the real belt with snaps and velcro glued to the inside of the beltboxes.

The broken rivetholes you can put snaps on the inside and just for the looks add rivet heads on the outside.

Doing some fiberglass might also help as an idea. It’s been great for me on armor parts for kits I’ve had that have high stress spots. It’s not flexible, but thankfully this is a spot you don’t need flexing much.
